This just in from TSN:
Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday activated forward Oscar Moller from injured reserve and placed defenseman Tom Preissing on IR.
Moller has been out since January 8, when he suffered a fractured collarbone. Prior to the injury, the 20-year-old Swede posted six goals and 13 points in 30 games.
Preissing is on the injured list, retroactive to February 1, with an upper body injury, and has missed LA’s last four games. The fifth-year pro collected three goals and seven points in 22 games before getting hurt.
The moves come one day before the Kings begin a three-game homestand by welcoming Calgary.

We have two signed LA Kings #9 Oscar Moller Jerseys that will be auctioned off at Faith Night on February 20th. We also have game action signed photos of Oscar that are nicely framed that will be also available for auction.
The proceedes will go towards Hockey Ministries International and towards helping build a home for a homeless Mexican family.

I just had a great conversation with Phil Schafran of MCC and they are also going to a part of Faith Night! I’m really excited about MCC because they are also a very important part of Chilliwack/Abbotsford.
From the MCC BC web site:
MCC is at work in more than 50 countries world-wide and we are also at work right here in BC. We have several programs here at home working with those in need in our own community. Go here to see a list of their local programs.
Welcome MCC to Faith Night!
The agencies/causes involvement grew today with the addition of Unity Christian School.
“Unity Christian School has offered quality Christ-centered education in the Upper Fraser Valley since 1969.Our Unity Christian School community is firmly committed to assisting its students in developing their God-given potential to enable them to join in the work of building the Kingdom of God. The Christian community of Unity Christian School, in grateful obedience to God, seeks to educate children in the light of the infallible Word of God. We believe that children are image-bearers of God, who have unique gifts and talents. Our aim is to unfold and develop the uniqueness of each child. We strive to provide for the child’s social, emotional, cognitive, ethical, aesthetic, economic, physical and spiritual growth, so that the child is equipped to be a Christ-like servant.”

Well, we are getting interest in Chilliwack/Abbotsford area causes/agencies who want to be a part of Faith Night. They are going to be setting up a booth to promote what they are up to and get the word out.
Welcome, BC Teen Challenge, Stoney Creek Expeditions, Chilliwack Salvation Army, and Hockey Ministries International.
If you would like to be part of Faith Night and have a booth to promote your cause, we will put you banner/logo on the front page and reserve a booth space for you.
For next steps you may go here.

We are hoping to have a live band play before the game and after the game during the free skate. We had one booked, but it didn’t work out.
So, I’m putting the word out there if anyone knows of a good band, that can play up-beat, driving and inspiring music with Biblical roots, let me know. The band can have their own booth, sell their own merchandise and promote their cause.
Thanks!
